She is a Tucson native who was brought to Kansas City, Missouri to pursue a BFA in dance & choreography from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Since graduating in 2019 from UMKC’s Conservatory she’s danced for several local companies such as Tristian Griffin Dance Company, Kostas Contemporary, Quixotic, and Wylliams Henry. She has also had the opportunity to perform in Charlotte Street’s “Making Moves” programs for Olivia Emert and Alexis Borth in 2022. She has had the opportunity to perform works by Chad Michael Hall, Lauren Edson, Cameron McKinney, Kirven Boyd, Kevin Iega Jeff, Gary Abbott and Christian Denice. She has trained with Kansas City Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, The Washington School of Ballet, Complexions Ballet, and Dance Theater of Harlem. From her hometown of Durango, Colorado, she studied under the instruction of Frances Taylor primarily in ballet and contemporary aesthetics for eight years. Throughout her collegiate career, she has studied codified modern and ballet techniques and has performed notable works such as Falling Angels by Jiří Kylián, Vespers by Ulysses Dove, Serenade by George Balanchine, Night Light by Kate Weare, and much more. Furthermore, she is an aspiring choreographer. Having set multiple commissioned works with dancers in the K-12 grade range, she has also had the pleasure of creating many works on her collegiate peers. Now, based back in Kansas City, she performs professionally in various dance projects, teaches, and choreographs. Regina has danced in works by Dan Stark, Charity Baroni, Chi Lopes, Tristian Griffin, and Elaine Kimble to name a few. She has also performed in musicals such as Newsies, Hair, and Mamma Mia and has been featured in Cochren & Co "The Lows" music video as well as Firelight Production's film "Eden's Twilight." Additionally, Regina is an assistant with Heat Convention and Competition while also in the process of completing her pilates certification. She has studied various mediums including dance, film, stage production, lighting design, and immersive media. Aspen is in her third year at University of the Arts studying under the direction of Donna - Faye Burchfield and will receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance Summer of 2026. Since graduating high school in 2021 Aspen has received her CID International Dance Certification in residency with Pizarts Global Dance Hub. She has honed in on her desire to receive and execute all that comes from the creative process working under Justin Giles, as a member of his Professional Company, Soulescape. Aspen's artistic research is a subconscious fusion of her present interests and past experiences, fluctuating phenomenologies of relation and space.
